Is Wise Agent Really $49 a Month for a 5-Agent Team?

Wise Agent pricing has the cheapest team headline among the CRMs we track: $49 a month, up to 5 team members, no setup fee, no contract. It's true. It's also built on one condition most team leads skim past: those 5 people share a single username and password. Give each agent their own login and the same 5-agent team costs $129 a month. That's still far under Follow Up Boss, and it's the version a team lead should actually buy. We priced Wise Agent at 5 and 10 agents from its pricing page and help center on October 26, 2026, then mapped when a team should move from shared access to its own seats.

TL;DR: Wise Agent's $49 plan covers 5 people on one shared login. Separate logins with permissions cost $20 each, so a 5-agent team pays $129 a month and a 10-agent team about $229. Follow Up Boss runs $345 and $499 for the same teams. Buy the logins; a shared password hides who dropped a lead.

Is Wise Agent Really $49 a Month for a Team?

Yes, but only on a shared login. Wise Agent's $49 CRM plan includes up to 5 team members who all use the same username and password. If each agent gets their own login with permissions, every extra login costs $20 a month, which puts a 5-agent team at $129 a month, or $25.80 per agent.

The $49 plan drops to $42 a month billed annually, which is $499 a year against $588 on monthly billing, the 15% savings Wise Agent advertises on its pricing page. The CRM + WiseSocial plan adds social content for $69 a month or $699 a year. Both plans are month-to-month with a 14-day free trial, and the FAQ says there are "no setup costs or hidden fees." Every plan includes lead automation, drip campaigns, transaction management, a team-friendly calendar, landing pages, 100 lead enhancement credits and 24/7 live support. Teams of 15 or more agents get pushed to a custom Enterprise plan with bulk licensing. That price isn't published, so if your team is close to 15, ask for the Enterprise quote before you build your setup around the add-on math below.

What We Priced and How

We modeled two team sizes using list prices only, because those are the numbers you can check yourself. The 5-agent team matches the size of a typical team: NAR's 2026 Member Profile, released June 25, 2026, found that "twenty-one percent of REALTORS® worked as part of a team, with teams averaging four members." The 10-agent team shows what happens once you outgrow the 5 included seats. For each size we priced three setups: Wise Agent on a shared login, Wise Agent with a permissioned login for every agent, and Follow Up Boss as the common benchmark. Follow Up Boss Grow is $69 per user a month, and Pro is $499 a month with 10 users included. We left out texting credits, tax and annual discounts so the comparison stays apples to apples, and we note the texting cost separately below.

Here's how those totals are built. A 5-agent team on a shared login pays only the $49 base. Give the 4 other agents their own permissioned logins at $20 apiece and you add $80, for $129. At 10 agents, the shared route adds one $20 batch of 5 inside members, for $69. Nine permissioned logins add $180 to the base, for $229. Wise Agent's pages don't say whether a permissioned login also uses up a member slot, so budget $249 if the $20 batch fee applies too. The 5-agent team with its own logins saves $216 a month against Follow Up Boss Grow, or $2,592 a year. At 10 agents the gap to Follow Up Boss Pro is $270 a month, or $3,240 a year, and still $250 a month if the batch fee applies. The Shared-Login Problem for Team Accountability

A shared login is cheap, and it breaks the one thing a team lead pays a CRM for: knowing who did what. Wise Agent's help article on inside team members, last updated July 24, 2026, says they "are under one account and share the same username and password," and that all of them can be logged in at once on different computers. You can split views for contact lists, commissions and tasks by team member, and assign tasks or appointments to one person. The article doesn't describe per-member activity tracking. Think about what that means in practice. When five people sign in as the same user, the login can't tell you who called a new lead at 9 p.m. or who let one sit for two days. When an agent leaves, you change the password for everyone. Agent turnover already costs a team real money, which we priced in our agent turnover cost breakdown. Don't add a security cleanup to every exit.

Robin Take: The $80 a month for separate logins isn't an upsell. It's the price of being able to coach your team from the data instead of from guesswork.

Surprises in the Fine Print

Three line items change the math once you're actually running a team. First, texting isn't in the base price. WiseText costs $11 a month for 1,000 credits, plus an $80 one-time registration fee, and most speed-to-lead setups depend on text. Second, Wise Agent offers a third team structure called an Outside Team, where each agent keeps a separate Wise Agent account and links it to yours. Its help article says requests can only go to agents with an active account, so every outside member pays for their own plan. At list price that's $49 each, or $245 a month for 5 agents. In exchange, you get lead rules that route by day of week, zip code or price range, using round-robin, Shark Tank or send-to-all distribution. Third, unlimited lead enhancement credits are just $5 a month, an easy add for a team buying portal leads with thin contact data.

When to Move From a Shared Login to Your Own Seats

Use your team's size and how leads come in to decide, not the price alone. Here's the order we'd follow.

  1. Stay on the shared login only while it's you plus an assistant. If nobody else is working leads, the $49 plan is fine and there's nothing to hold anyone accountable for.
  2. Buy a permissioned login for the first agent who works leads. At $20 a month, that's the moment you need to see their calls, texts and follow-up in their name.
  3. Add WiseText before you add more agents. Pay the $80 registration once and set your new-lead text to fire automatically, so fast response doesn't depend on who's online.
  4. Switch to an Outside Team when agents bring their own database. Agents who want to keep their contacts if they leave will prefer their own accounts, and you can still route leads to them.
  5. Ask for the Enterprise quote at 12 to 14 agents. Wise Agent sends teams of 15 or more to Enterprise, so get that price before your next hire forces the move.

Our Verdict for Team Leads

Wise Agent is the cheapest team CRM in this comparison, as long as you budget for the version with separate logins. At $129 a month for 5 agents, it costs roughly 37% of what Follow Up Boss Grow charges, with no contract and no setup fee. Price isn't the whole decision, though. Our real estate CRM comparison covers how the bigger platforms handle routing and integrations, and that's where a cheap CRM can cost you deals. If your team works mostly referrals and sphere leads, Wise Agent with separate logins is enough. If you're buying portal leads and need fast response by the minute, compare it against our Lofty vs Follow Up Boss pricing for a 3-agent team first. Whatever CRM you pick, it only pays off when it has listing leads to work. RobinFlow builds home-valuation funnels and seller-lead campaigns for agents and teams.
